Your library should always be bigger than your TV

 
Watching TV strengthens the eyes and reading a book strengthens the mind. There are a lot of things you can learn from watching TV but the information is precooked. It’s like putting dinner in the microwave; it will get the job done but won’t taste the same or be as enjoyable as cooking it.
